About Your Groomer My name is Kelli Ceraolo. I am the owner and operator of Kelli's Mobile Pet Salon. I'm a Nebraska native and a pet lover. The goal of my business is simple: To provide an unsurpassed quality of care in pet grooming in Omaha and surrounding areas. I want your pet to have the best possible grooming experience! I have always been destined for a career in pet care. As a child, I brought home animals of every shape and size. In 2002, I was given the opportunity to attend the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Jenison, Michigan. Taught by some of the best groomers in the industry, I received hands-on training with all breeds, while studying up on AKC breed history and breed standards. Grooming school also included seminars on treating pests, identifying common skin/coat ailments, and hand stripping. It involved tests, both written and practical. I graduated from Grooming School in September of 2002 and moved to the Omaha area from Lincoln in 2005. I strive to keep up-to-date on the latest grooming styles and techniques. Each year, I attend grooming conventions with tradeshows, seminars, and grooming competitions. I also frequently attend dog shows and dog training courses. Continuing education keeps me passionate about my career and allows me to provide my clients with the quality of care they desire. I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross. (May of 2007) I have also worked under the direction of and learned a great deal from local veterinarians and veterinary technicians. I live just west of Omaha and have two young children. We share our home with two standard poodles, Hans and Owen, a border collie, Harmony, and a boxer mix, Cooper. We also have a cat, Jack, and a rabbit, Moe.
I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Thanks so much for visiting my site! Kelli Ceraolo
| In the News! Photo courtesy Forever Stainless Steel I won a grooming table! :) | Did you know? Unlike in the "human" beauty field, there is no licensing or regulation of the pet grooming industry. Any time you take your pet to a new salon you should ask some key questions including: Are you familiar with my breed? Can I see where my pet will be kenneled, bathed, and groomed? Are the kennels and grooming equipment disinfected between pets? Where did the groomer get their training? Do you keep records of the products used and the type of hair-cut my pet gets each time? Can I expect to see the same groomer each time? Is the staff trained in Pet CPR and first aid?
